And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 He said: "Certainly not! So go both of you with Our Signs. We shall be with you listening to everything. 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses said, "I did do it and I made a mistake. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 Moses said, "Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if only you would be convinced." 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old. 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 [But Moses] went on: "[He of whom I speak is] the Sustainer of the east and the west and of all that is between the two - as you would know]" if you would but use your reason!" 28 'If you take any other god except myself' he (Pharaoh) replied, 'you shall be thrown into prison' 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
