O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ Now; if the hypocrites do not give over, and those in whose hearts there is sickness and they that make commotion in the city, We shall assuredly urge thee against them and then they will be thy neighbours there only a little; 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 God's wont with those who passed away before; and thou shall find no changing the wont of God. 62 People ask you concerning the Hour, say: "The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What do you know? It may be that the Hour is near!" 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse." 68
