The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
