The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
