The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
