Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
