O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
