The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
