The dwellers in the wood (of Midian) denied the messengers (of Allah), 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 and do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not make mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 And you are naught but a mortal like ourselves, and we know you to be certainly of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
