Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
