▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
