And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
