The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
