We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
