The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
