۞ God is the One who has created you in a state of weakness; then He has granted you strength following [your] weakness; later on He has given you infirmity and grey hairs in place of strength. He creates whatever He wishes; He is the All Knowing and All Powerful. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 But those who have been given knowledge and faith shall say, 'You have tarried in God's Book till the Day of the Upraising, This is the Day of the Upraising, but you did not know.' 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers." 58 Thus does God seal the hearts of those who do not know. 59 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true; and let not those who have not sure faith make thee unsteady. 60
