Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 we are they that give glory. 166 They used to say: 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
