BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
