Al-Naba' 2 of 2

[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 gardens and vineyards, 32 and young maidens of equal age, 33 And a full cup (of wine). 34 There they shall not hear any idle talk, or any untruth: 35 [All this will be] a reward from thy Sustainer, a gift in accordance with [His Own] reckoning 36 the Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that is between them, the Merciful, of whom they are unable to speak. 37 On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right. 38 That day is certain. So whosoever likes may prepare a way to his Lord. 39 Lo, We have warned you of a nigh chastisement, upon the day when a man shall behold what his hands have forwarded, and the unbeliever shall say, 'O would that I were dust!' 40
