The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
