The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
