The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
