Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
