Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
