He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 when the blind came to him. 2 for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 You pay full attention, 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 And he feareth 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 in [the light of His] revelations blest with dignity, 13 most exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Noble and dutiful. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 then eased his path for him, 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 How We pour water in showers 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 And garden-closes of thick foliage 30 And fruits and herbage 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 and from his spouse and his children: 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 laughing and joyous 39 And (many) faces on that day, on them shall be dust, 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
