Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
