Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
