I swear by that which ye see. 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
