Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 and the severally severing 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
