Surely for the godfearing awaits a place of security, 31 theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, 32 and splendid companions well matched, 33 and a cup [of happiness] overflowing. 34 They will hear therein no babble nor falsehood: 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 from the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of that which is between them; the Most Merciful Lord before Whom none dare utter a word. 37 On the Day whereon the spirits and the angels will stand arrayed, they will not be able to speak save him whom the Compassionate giveth leave and who speaketh aright. 38 That Day is sure to come. So let him who will seek a resort with his Lord. 39 Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust! 40
