Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Say: “I seek refuge with the Lord of the rising day; 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 from the evil of night's darkness when it spreads around; 3 From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
