Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Did you imagine that We created you without any purpose, and that you will not be brought back to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
