Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
