۞ And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud. 57 And they say, “Are our deities better or he?” They did not say this to you except to unjustly argue; in fact they are a quarrelsome people. 58 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. 59 if We had so wished, We could have appointed angels in exchange for you to succeed you on the earth. 60 And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path. 61 Let satan not prevent you from the right path. He is your sworn enemy". 62 And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me. 63 Verily God is my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him. This is the straight path." 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Are they looking for aught but the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they are not aware? 66 Close friends will turn into enemies of one another on that Day, except the pious. 67
