The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This is The Book free of doubt and involution, a guidance for those who preserve themselves from evil and follow the straight path, 2 Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. 5 As for those who are bent on denying the truth, it makes no difference to them whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom. 7
