And when thy Lord called to Moses, 'Go to the people of the evildoers, 10 The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)? 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 and my chest will become constricted and my tongue will not be loosed (in my speech), therefore, send to Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 Then send with us the children of Israel. 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 Yet you were ungrateful and have done the deed you did' 19 (Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
