We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
