Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
