▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
