And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
