Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
