They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 and leave them so smoothly levelled 106 [so that] thou wilt see no curve thereon, and no ruggedness. 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that Day intercession will not benefit them except him that has received the permission of the Merciful and whose words are pleased by Him. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, while they do not comprehend it in knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 But he who has done good things and believes, will have no fear of either being wronged or deprived. 112 We have revealed the Quran in the Arabic language containing various warnings so that it may cause them to have fear (of God) or take heed. 113 Supremely exalted is therefore Allah, the King, the Truth, and do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my Lord! increase me in knowledge. 114 And indeed before this We made a covenant with Adam, so he forgot, and We did not find its intention (in him). 115
