Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
