In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 a Book whose revelations are well expounded, an Arabic Quran for people who possess knowledge, 3 Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. 4 And they say: "Our hearts are under coverings (screened) from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a screen, so work you (on your way); verily, we are working (on our way)." 5 (Muhammad), say, "I am a mere mortal like you. I have received a revelation that your Lord is the only One. So be up-right and obedient to Him and seek forgiveness from Him. Woe to the pagans, 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 Lo! as for those who believe and do good works, for them is a reward enduring. 8
