O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their error till a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the signs of their Lord – 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 In fact, the hearts of the unbelievers are in the dark because of their ignorance of real virtue; they act against it. 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or, is it that thou askest of them any maintenance? The maintenance of thy Lord is better, and He is the Best of providers. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 And indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviated from the Straight Path. 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 until We opened upon them the door of a severe chastisement. Then lo, in this state they become utterly despaired of any good. 77
