Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 The folk of Noah denied (the truth) before them, and (so did) the dwellers at Ar-Rass and (the tribe of) Thamud, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
