We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
