The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
