and We delivered the Children of Israel from the humbling chastisement, 30 From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors. 31 And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations. 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying: 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them, 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
