The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 It will engulf them. 8 in extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
